About Aequus Institute
The Aequus Institute was started in 1983 by the
late Loran Alan Mansfield with two specific objectives:
  • the promotion and strengthening of the free market economic system throughout the world

  • the promotion of the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy and the Cause of Christian Science

The following represent some of the successful efforts of Aequus Institute to further the cause of Christian Science:
  • publishing of two biographies on Mary Baker Eddy and other books

  • publishing of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. (Mrs. Eddy's 1910 edition.)

  • placement of thousands of copies of Science and Health in hotels and motels across the United States

  • development and marketing of the CD-ROM Journal Search program, a complete concordance to the Bible, Mrs. Eddy's published writings and the Christian Science Journals (from 1883-1910)
